Our team is delighted to announce that five abstracts from working group members were accepted to the International AIDS Society 2015 “Towards an HIV Cure Symposium”, which will be held July 18-19, 2015 in Vancouver, Canada. These abstracts include:

An additional abstract was accepted to the 8th IAS Conference on HIV Pathogenesis, Treatment and Prevention, held July 19-22, 2015 in Vancouver, Canada:

  • Structures, users, benefits, and barriers of social media for communication about HIV prevention and care: a systematic review. Tamara Taggart, Mary E. Grewe, Donaldson F. Conserve, Catherine Gliwa, Malika Roman Isler.

These abstracts represent a snapshot of searcHIV’s work within the past year and are the result of collaboration between working group members and other colleagues from a variety of disciplines and backgrounds. We look forward to further discussing our work and the importance of these social and ethical considerations in Vancouver with our many international, multidisciplinary colleagues involved in HIV cure research.
