New fields inspire new journals.  The exciting progress of HIV cure research was part of the impetus behind the soon-to-be launched  Journal of Virus Eradication (details here). The purpose of the journal is to provide high-quality, open-access research focused on virus eradication, especially HIV, HBV, and HCV.  Our working group team member Jintanat Ananworanich is Editor-in-Chief of the journal, joined by editors Margaret Johnson and Sabine Kinloch. A distinguished group of leaders in this field comprise the editorial board.  The journal will include basic science, clinical, epidemiological, modelling, and pharmacological research in addition to social science and ethics.  Article fees will be waived for all authors in the first two years of the journal.
